Think of the GUNSLINGER subclass. You'd expect it to be THE subclass that rewards precision with damage right? But nope, it doesnt do that at all. It has worse damage, sustain and support than prismatic. That is a problem.
Gunslinger has bad aspects. "On your mark" gives you RELOAD SPEED (WOW!).
Half of "Knockem down" is stuff that should be intrinsic, only thing it does is give knife back on kill while radiant.
The problem with GPG is that it's not ionic sentry. Ionic sentry stays active for 20-30?s and gives bolt stacks and ionic traces, and ionic sentry kills count towards the next sentry. GPG is one ignition and that's it. An ignition that doesn't give anything either, except charge the next GPG. No bolt stacks/ionic traces equivalent.
And that's it, that's Gunslinger. There is a glaring problem here and it needs to be fixed.
Here's how I'd do it:
Add 1 new aspect: precision hits/kills grant bonus damage (WOW!), 20? decaying stacks, dmg values I'm not sure. Precision kills while radiant grant restoration X1/cure X2 (cure from 1 to 10 stacks, resto after 10 stacks? Or just resto at any stack)
Congratulations, Gunslinger is now a gunslinger subclass.
On Your Mark: Precision kills grant current stat bonuses to you and nearby allies. Dodging gives max stacks. At max stacks, precision kills provide radiant to your and nearby allies. They announced this change recently I think but idk if they included radiant for nearby allies.
Knock'em Down: The current benefits to the supers while radiant should be active by default.
While radiant, knife or PRECISION KILLS refund knives. This would take the throwing knife power fantasy to the next level.
Maybe knife kills could give a benefit, like damage resistance or healing.
GPG: Should count as an ignition no matter if shot or not. Should take less kills than than ionic sentry to charge, maybe 4 stacks (you get 2 stacks for killing a solar debuffed target with an ability/weapon btw). Usage should be frequent, so cooldown should be short.
Shooting a GPG while in mid-flight detonates it and it explodes into basically Dragon's Breath's subminitions, pools of fire that periodically spawn firesprites. Either that or a healing pool, but a healing pool would be weird for hunter. The point is for it to offer sustain, either through firesprites (which give resto with that one fragment) or plainly a healing zone.
Kills while using GG Deadshot should refund super energy, like transcendence does, giving you more time.

The Golden Gun needs a third variant, one that is suited to PvE. This Canonere Golden Gun, should work similar to the Dragon's Breath Rocket Launcher. The Proximity Explosive Knife needs to scorch on denotation. The Gunpowder Gamble needs to deal higher base damage; igniting any scorched enemies in range of the blast would also be nice. Being able to supercharge the GPG, similar to the Warlock aspect of Chaos Accelerant. Gunpowder Gamble also needs to have high self damage or acquire some other significant negative to being caught in the blast. Otherwise the Gamble, the theme of ability is lost. Element Verbs, should be stronger on Singal element classes. As an insetive to play them rather than Prismatic; a reward for specificity.

IMO one of the supers need to be altered I always thought the 3 shot Golden gun should've been a Rifle or a Sniper since the beginning, the whole class themed around being a country cowboy so might as well show it .

They said they have future buffs planned and also probably a new aspect.

Tbf, on Your Mark gives a ton of handling and reload. I love it in PVP, especially because the added handling lets you ADS much faster after dodging. And Solar Hunter is able to refund their melee after every melee kill. That's nothing to sneeze at. However, I agree that Solar Hunter is lacking when compared to Prismatic. But it isnt the only subclass lacking. If anything, I would consider Arc or Stasis to be in a worse state than Solar.

I agree that GPG is the flashiest marshmallow. I like your ideas. 😇👍💠 On multi-shot... refund the bullets and refresh the timer on crits in PvE at least as good as it used to be. For add clear, why not?

I think certain subclasses was built for crucible.
