OP: good stuff! 👌 I started out as wingman to my (then) young son…H.A.L.O. / Quake4 / 007 / Gears of War / etc. - thence to Destiny (Xmas 2014) - him a Hunter, me a Titan. We played and played…and even made a few vids for our own amusement; it was watching these that brought me back to Destiny’s shores, on a wave of nostalgia, after my time away, over at WF (MR24)…after I bounced, due to the Sunset debacle. I got my own PS3 or PS4, and my Destiny a/c in 2015, after my son went away to school. The ‘in game’ comms on Destiny were superior to Skype etc. - that being the principal reason; and I started our little father/son clan as an additional comms channel…which worked as intended! It proved useful during those all-important school / college years. And that’s how I got into Destiny! TLDR: I love pootling about in what’s left of the Destiny Universe. I soft-closed the book after that epic 12-man mission. Now, I’m hanging on by a few strands… I’d rather Destiny not wither on the vine…but, if it does, then so be it. I am happy to support the game going forward, because it’s a familiar place for this old tortoise to pootle about…even as a sonic ball… I’ve got lots of warm fuzzies for the worker bees at BHQ…though not so many for the mismanagement bods that inhabit the C Suite swamp. Personally, I’d like Sony-BHQ to announce D3 as a WiP and mothball D2 - and open the loot floodgates in the interim. I’ve posted that stuff many times before, so I’ll just leave it at that.
