Mobility in armor 3.0 is a potential killing point

Hi everybody, I have heard that mobility in the upcoming armor update, is going to be set at 30 for everyone, and can only be increased, via leg armor mod, presumably in increments of 30. I just wanted to give feedback, and say that this is a potential breaking point for me, as in a possible reason for me to quit playing, there is no way that I would invest more than 1 mobility mod for any activity, and being stuck at 60, is terrible for gameplay as a hunter, which is the only class I play. Please consider changes, Bungie? I liked the freedom of the current armor, in the way that you could have mobility at 70, or 80, especially with ads having auto tracking aim. As for my personal opinion on the upcoming changes, I will have to agree with others, I think it overtly complicates things, doesn't seem to be very well thought out, and I do not particularly like them, although, I think some change is welcome. Not receiving additional vault space, is also another downside, I for one, am simply not raiding, or doing additional dungeons, because my vault is at a maximum.

  • That shame for mobility. It felt too weak on that speed for warlock and titan. I am worry to jumping hive ships (king fall raid, I don’t care about edge sword skill) and tomes (trade places) or exotics mission like it have timer. It need more speed like 50- 60 mobility than less 40. Oh well, nothing I can do about it, I guess I had to adapt new skills and try to beat timer or objective completion during exotic missions or raids. Just remember. Some exotic mission like expert or master have lockout weapons and armors can’t change or switch during mission. Best luck to you guys.

  • If I set my mobility down to 40 right now & play that way before EoF, would it give an accurate feeling of what it will be like when EoF comes out... or no, does it not work that way? I'm really trying to see if I'll notice these changes. I know for a fact I feel different (& derpy) when I play warlock. I dislike it so much that I would actually quit playing destiny if the only character I could play was warlock lol. I'm willing to re-learn how armor & stats work etc, but I dont want the gameplay to "feel" awkward, clunky, or derpy from a movement/vision/immersion perspective.

  • If they make the game slower in anyway it will kill it for many. Then months later another go-fast update will be required. The people Bungie lose now are never coming back.

  • Hunter mobility should be 100 while the other two are 30 sheerly because it would line up with how most people play now, and would in fact FAVOR the Titans and warlocks, who would no longer have to stick themselves at 18 mobility or less just to get a good stat roll for resilience and recovery. I'll bet you anything, though that Hunters are gonna be investing in damage and players in PVP are gonna cry about getting slugged by this fact. Glass cannons loaded with grapeshot, bro. Deal with it.

    • Hunters are base 40. Doesn't sound like it changes much for you, but still.
