Old Raids and Tiered Loot
Bungie trust me when I tell you we do NOT want a “Reprised Raid loot 2.0” nobody wants to farm these raids for new weapons for the 3rd time just to get tiered versions.
We all know you’re gonna try and push that as “new content” in some future update. We don’t want it. If anything just leave it in the past and just give us new weapons instead in other activities. I’m fine with my currently adept and enhanced raid weapons. I don’t need enhanced smallbore for +2 more range lol.

Bungie probably looked at movie studios remaking Spiderman, Batman, Superman etc.. and thought, yeah that's a good idea. We'll just reprise stuff every couple of years. -

I on the other hand would love to see old raid loot brought up with modernized perks and additional origins rather than just killing off the old raids & dungeons, give them new perks, scrap the crafting aspect to them so there is a longer life to them, flood the perks to the same level at the ritual weapons,12 perks in each column instead of the standard 7 since we're going to be getting weapons at T5 with three perks in each. Edit: I'd also like to add I'd love to see unique set bonuses on the armors that only come from the raids, making raid armor a valuable thing too.

Bungie as forever struggled to keep old content relevant and always put us with the smallest amount of boring stuff on repeat. Updating all the weapons to give us way more to do would be a win imo. It’s not like leaving things as they are is going to give us more to do elsewhere. That’s why I thought the rite of the nine should have been permanent and released after the expansion with the new gear systems. Missed opportunity and wasted resources but we will see how the future goes.

I think my weapons will still be fine to use all tier 4 and 5 weapons do is add enhanced barrels and mags can wait for the posts to say “have tier 5 weapons or get kicked” lol

You already know they are going to do it. I would just advise taking a D2 break. We’ve conquered every paracausal threat and done all the things. You don’t have to sacrifice your sanity to jump back into an arbitrarily recycled grind.

The majority of raid guns in the game are already outdated. If you don’t want to use reprised guns, don’t. Literally no reason to complain about them.

So you’d rather them just leave the old raids in the dust? If they were to bring out tiered loot, your old gun would still be just as good as it was before. You don’t have to grind for the new stuff.

I mean I assume they plan on doing reprised raid loot through the pantheon styled thing in the shadow and order major update. Most raids atm don't need updates, but I could see something like King's Fall getting updated loot though.

1 ReplyI've got them craftable and only use reckless oracle and fate bringer I won't be regrinding them if the give tired versions it wouldn't be worth it at all.
