Zavala consulted a datapad running through his presentation and other Vanguard matters that would be discussed. The doors to his office unlocked and were opened by Ikora Rey, who lead the members of the Vanguard and their allies. Osiris, Saint-14 and Shaxx quickly followed along with the Bray sisters and Crow. Shortly after, Empress Caitial entered the Commanders office while Lord Saladin strode in stoic as ever. He locked eyes with his former allies and only spoke one word as he bowed his head. With a shallow grumble he acknowledged Crow. Crow in return nodded and stood up straighter. The members stood, settled and looked towards their Commander. “Good, you all made it. Thank you for coming. Let’s begin,” Zavala welcomed them as he pressed a button on his datapad and his holographic presentation spun slowly on his desk. A holographic image of the Witness scrambled to life. “As you all know, one of the breakthroughs that empowered us as Guardians and enabled us to takedown the Witness was the discovery of the Prismatic subclass.” Footage of Guardians wielding Prismatic energy in the Pale Heart played. “This gift that the Traveller bestowed upon us, brought us full circle and allowed us to use our powers in ways we never knew were possible. With this expansion of our abilities, Ikora and Osiris have looked into weaponizing it.” “Ada-1 and our weaponsmith Banshee-44, successfully combined their craftsmanship to create this…”, the Commander explained. The presentation shifted to a sleek Omolon sponsored Fusion rifle/Trace rifle hybrid. It spun gently for all to see. Ikora stepped in to express her excitement for this new creation. “We’re calling it, [i]‘Three Kings Might’.[/i] A Fusion rifle and Trace rifle combo. As a Guardian spends time building Transcendence with the Fusion rifle they can then swap to the Trace rifle mode and utilize the Transcendent energy. With this weapon and the abilities we have, we will be able to fully harness Transcendent energy. The hologram displayed a Guardian swapping weapon modes from the Fusion rifle to the Trace rifle. Ana Bray leaned in and whispered to Elsie about how the combo operated. Ana Bray upholstered her weapon and Lord Saladin mounted himself in front of Empress Caitial. “You know, it’s been a long time since us Guardians got anything this epic…” The Hunter appeared from the shadows, and strode through the Vanguard. “Marcus Ren?” Zavala said in complete disbelief. “How did you get…” “Ah, let’s keep that a secret..” Ren said mischievously. “This meeting is for the Vanguard leadership only,” Saint-14’s booming voice rang through the Commanders office. “Yes, but I am part of the Guardian community and I have a voice. Some people call me a maniac, some a genius..I say is it too much to be both? Before you ask why I’m here, let me just clear the air..” Ikora readjusted herself for what Ren was about to propose. “Yes, I made advances towards Ana Bray and no she didn’t call me back..” Ana covered her face with her right arm as she began to blush. Osiris impatient with Marcus’ immaturity said, “Surely you did not come all this way to dispose of our time with something so insignificant..” “Ok ok, what I came here to say is.. His thoughts slowed and he said, “Then alongside your new Fusion, Trace rifle get the Guardians suited up in new Sparrow Racing League swag with new sparrows or skimmers, some horns, maybe a new hairdo for Crow…”Everyone looked over at Crows pulled back man bun. “Picture it, the long awaited return of an Ultimate Sparrow Racing League Tournament!!” Ren looked around his audience who all seemed unmoved by his energetic delivery.
