The future of crafted weapons
In the new dlc, bungie will not add any weapons that can be crafted because content creator's complained about its opinion. is why add something to the game and then remove it also the bs from bungie saying we will not sunset any content, but that is exactly what they are doing here

So much of Bungie's development for Destiny amounted to "wouldn't it be cool if". With little though for the ramifications of their actions. Unlocking Grenades from being bound to specific classes. Eat away a each class embodying a specific heroic-archtypes and game play niches; Prismatic was even worse. Crafting removed the impetus to "loot" in a Looter-Shooter. Now Bungie is trying to correct their mistakes but doesn't have the will, to simply remove crafting entirely.
