Edge of Fate, my day one build for Warlock

Here is the day one build for me, try it if you want to destroy everything.... Tinasha's Mastery with chill clip and reverb, Ice Breaker with Catalyst, Briars Contempt with Reconstruction. Reworked Starfire protocol that activates from radiant and empowered damage per the last twab. Tinashas gives you unstopable with artifact and overload with chill clip. (alternatively you can run liminal vigil with headstone and rime stealer or live fire or redrix with the same perks to give you the bonuses from frost armor in the artifact as scouts and pulse rifles are also on the artifact either could work if you want more range but you should be using Icebreker in this build for most adds and just swap to get kills with Tinashas to refill it's ammo assuming your ability spam doesn't already do that) Tinasha's gives frost armor from percision kills with Fever and chill. Icebreaker gives you theoretically unlimited ammo, you regain ammo from kills with other weapons and abilites. It gives guaranteed ignitions on percision damage and percision damage from solar weapons gives radiant from the fever and chill artifact mod and thus anti barrier it is also unstoppable with the sidearm artifact mod. Icebreaker also combos with Tinasha's, if you freeze the target it can one tap shatter them. Briars will also get the anti-barrier and radiant buffs from artifact on percision damage as it is a solar weapon. Briars with reconstruction also gives you an adaptive burst linear with double magazine size to keep up your damage for boss phases. Toss your fusion grenades on cooldown between lasing the boss with it's 3 round burst which will cause radiant with the artifact although regardless you should be standing in your empowering rift and well of radiance boosting your damage and guaranteeing radiance and a boost to the reworked Starfireprotocol which now recharges off of radiant as well as empowered weapon damage. If you manage to get the 200 cap in grenade they will be doing plus 65% damage and can be tossed near infinite by just doing dps in your empowering rift. Standouts in the artifact are Fever and Chill which gives radiant for Icebreaker and Briars and frost armor to tinasha's. Reciprocol Draw which makes your icebreaker kills boost Tinasha's damage and Icebreaker inately can shatter off of frozen targets or percision damage and get ammo back from landing hits on slowed or frozen targets with it's catalyst which is why chill clip is key in this build. Elemental Coalecence feeds you more grenade energy because your kills with icebreaker will drop fire sprites speeding up the grenade spam if you run ember of mercy it will also give you restoration on elemental pickup for more survivability more on that later. Depending on the damage increase-Cauterized Darkness could be good as could Elemental Daze but testing is needed on these two. For defense in raids if you need it Shoulder to Shoulder. Radiant Shrapnel in the final column will be mandatory and offer insane amounts of damage to this build as essentially everything will be scorched due to Icebreaker percision hits Ignitions or Radiant due to the other artifact mods. Shield Crush is also mandatory the melee side which increased melee recharge and damage can proc because thanks to the Fever and Chill artifact mod Tinasha's percision hits can proc frost armor the side that is more likely to be up however is the second half which will give you recharge and damage boost to your grenades when you do radiant damage which will be non stop when doing Icebreaker damage or using Briars or when simply standing in your well of Radiance with any weapon you want. This means even more grenade spam during boss phase and more total dps. For the build Dawnblade is the obvious choice with either Well of Radiance or Song of Flame for most content which gives you radiant and all the artifact bonuses therin and thus boosts the grenade spam. Due to the nature of the build benefiting from standing in empowering rift and Well being a mainstay of end game. Well is my suggested selection and Song for when you are soloing and not as concerned with min maxing or on a more movement oriented encounter. For Aspects Hellion and Touch of Flame are what I am currently running on this build Hellion is great because it can actually feed Icebreaker ammo as Icebreaker gets ammo from other weapon or ability kills so both your grenade spam kills and Hellion kills will feed Icebreaker ammo limiting the amount of Tinasha's ammo you need to spend to keep topped off. Touch gives more damage with a second explosion so it is a no brainer. I am currently going between two setups for my Fragments. Ember of Ahes, Ember of Char, Ember of Erruption and Ember of Searing This gives you more scorch stacks from ashes, scorch spread on ignition with char and a larger ignition radius with eruption The reason this is so good in this build is that Icebreaker guarantees ignition on percision final blows or shattering a frozen target which makes it's damage go through the roof. In addition you will spread max scorch in a large radius around it's victim often times deleting waves of enemies. On top of that your grenades will also benefit from the same mechanics. The down side is that with only ember of searing you get firesprites but they only give grenade energy and feed you without running ember of mercy you essentially have no heals outside of recuperation on your gear or healthy finisher. You could always drop hellion for Heat Rises giving you an on demand heal but then you lose a source of damage and free Icebreaker ammo from it's red bar kills so the choice is yours really (I personally run healthy finisher with this and keep my leg mods on absolution Inervation and Insulation to maximize uptimes) The second build would be all of these mods but drop Ember of Erruption for Ember of Mercy and then you gain resto when rezing allies and when picking up a firesprite. This adds to survivability but lowers the insane AOE of your constant Icebreaker Ignitions. I would say play around and use the build that fits your playstyle. I have been able to run the first build on Aetheon this week with little to no issues and top dps charts so It all depends on the content and your familiarity with. This build works now but will be juiced to the gills in the next expansion so if you are about that life I'd suggest farming for gear aligned with the future stats and crafting materials now while you can. Thats what I'll likely be doing if you see me in game. See you in EOF guardians...enjoy.
