Seriously, this has been pretty annoying for a long time. Make it a trade off on PVP, the defensive aspect of the barricade lasting only ONE full BoltCharge and then disappear for having a broken AOE damage. Teams literally just bunker up behind the barricade and literally wipe anything and anyone for what it is way too much time on PVP.

Bungie can only tune damage separately in PvP However ability behavior is something they can't do, so they would have to change it in PvE also So thats a giant hell no!!!!!!

Probably why it’s best to not walk out in the open in front of a barricade like a target dummy?

Jotunn will one-shot any Barricade, which allows you to swap to your Primary while the projectile is in flight and able to easily hit the Guardian(s) behind it. Cloudstrike also would be a great counter as usually the player head is exposed and if a team is bunched up behind it, they would also be hit. Failing that, most Hakke weapons with the Origin Trait can quickly remove a Barricade and is one of my favorite Foundries for PvP due to Turrets and other spawnable objects.

Honestly, that would be fair. I don't like that barricade has such a huge advantage over thruster with Storm's Keep.

if you think bolt charge damage is broken right now you should have seen the damage on release 😭 i think it’s around 50 dmg rn. pre-nerf damage was around 130 (iirc). you would get melted so fast, especially bc people were running eriana’s vow + bolt charge.
