No one wants to "grind" away boring activities for gear that makes OTHER activities more enjoyable.
Just give me the loot that I want, let me play the modes that I want, and let me play the way that I want!
All this artificial difficulty, forced ways to obtain weapons / armor, and awful balancing leads to burnout and frustration.
At the very least, bring back crafting and bad luck protection so that player time is respected!
I know not everyone feels the way that I do, but keep in mind: THIS IS NOT A JOB. I don't want to treat it like one.
No one wants to "grind" away boring activities for gear that makes OTHER activities more enjoyable.
Don't play a game that revolves around grinding if you have an issue with grinding.
Just give me the loot that I want, let me play the modes that I want, and let me play the way that I want!
So you just want handouts? Yeah, looter shooters probably aren't your thing. I'd say go play Minecraft, but you'd probably complain about needing to go and collect resources to make things.
All this artificial difficulty, forced ways to obtain weapons / armor, and awful balancing leads to burnout and frustration.
So, needing to play the game and specific activities to get things is an issue? Good god, some of you really should just stick to board games if you can't handle actually playing a game to get things.
At the very least, bring back crafting and bad luck protection so that player time is respected!
It's your choice what you spend time on, and it is only your responsibility to respect your own time. Crafting doesn't need to come back, and a good portion of things currently have some way to focus gear, so you already have your bad luck protection.
I know not everyone feels the way that I do, but keep in mind: THIS IS NOT A JOB. I don't want to treat it like one.
You're right. It's not a job, so quit treating it like one. Complaining about your personal issues and how you treat a videogame as a job isn't anyone else's responsibility to deal with.
