It’s truly baffling that this year’s dungeon weapons won’t be upgradeable like last year’s Onslaught weapons were. It’s like Bungie can never replicate their own success.

Somebody made a post similar to yours talking about why people are not doing the ultimatum dungeons and that's the thing I told people was that that's the reason nobody's touching it. We don't know what's gonna happen ro happen to our adapt weapons you don't wanna do an ultimatum dungeon and then July 15th it turns out all of the gear you got from ultimatum has to be dismantled because it's gonna be pointless to use..

I agree because what's the point if you grind for ultimatum for rewards that are just gonna be useless at the start of edge of fate. Yes bungie have said that our current gear will still be useful and content including contest mode but face the music people need to understand there is gonna be a lot of benefits for tier gear increase weapon damage damage resistance etc. I'm not saying you have to get like tier 5 but I would recommend that people need to get at least tier 3. You know what and I know it players are going to say must have tier 5 in order to do a mission.. Frankly all enhanced and adept weapons should be at least tier 3 at the start of edge of fate hardcore players should have an advantage over casuals! Since we don't know what's gonna happen basically I emptied my vault and I only have adapt weapons of each weapon type.

The enhanced shiny rite weapons are exactly the same as T3 weapons. They don't need a Tier 3 tag on them at all because they are the same thing. I don't personally agree with the seasonal boosts as well but supposedly they were reduced to 10% so you'd need a T5 weapon to get that 10% boost since its based on item tier with it granting 2% per tier the item is. It is also $80 for both Edge of Fate and Renegades, not just EoF.
