Here are some ideas I came up with :)
Adaptive Burst SMG
- Fires 3 Round burst. 450 RPM.
- Comparable range to Precision SMGs
- Adaptive Pulse damage in PvP.
- Very strong synergy with damage perks, but slower TTK for range in PvP without.
Aggressive Burst SMG
- Fires 4 Round burst. 540 RPM
- Great range but limited TTK.
- Great single burst damage.
Charge Shot Scout Rifles
- Baby primary ammo Linears. Requires a short 400ms charge time before firing.
- strong single shot damage and best in class range.
Detonator Bows
- Bows that fire a single heavy arcing projectile that detonates on impact.
- Lower single target DPS due to less crit damage but has a wide AoE.
- AoE damage doesn’t scale with draw, but its blast radius does.
Combat Shotguns (Heavy Ammo)
- Heavy combat shotguns. 200 RPM
- Deep Mag Sizes (8-10 rounds) with solid base damage (about 1.3x an Agg shotgun)
- Magazine based reload instead of a single shell.
Caster Fusion Rifles
- Fusion rifles that fire a single slow-moving Orb that passes through enemies.
- 720ms Charge Time (in line with Precision Frames)
- Good damage per shot but projectile requires leading targets. Move slightly slower than Jotunn
- No tracking…
Precision Sniper Rifles
- Heavy Bolt action sniper rifles.
- Same body shot damage as High Impact frames but higher crit damage.
- 5 round mag, slow reload, low handling.
- Rounds have intrinsic overpenetration
Aggressive Trace Rifles
- Heavy and bulky Trace rifles.
- Deep mags and higher base damage, but much lower range and heavy feeling.
Precision Trace Rifles
- Potent Trace rifles that sacrifice some base damage and handling for improved range and crit damage.
- Basically halfway between a sniper and a trace rifle.
- Poor stability and lots of kick gets evened out when ADS.
- 2.5x-sniper zoom scopes.
Lightweight Trace Rifles
- Stripped down trace rifles that have improved handling but significantly smaller mag sizes.
Spread Shot Glaive
- Glaives that fire a spread of 9 projectiles in a Diamond pattern when fired.
- Designed for close range engagements with dramatically reduced range but good guard stats and deep mags.
Pinpoint Slug Glaive
- Glaives that fire a single high velocity precision bolt.
Micro Missile Heavy GL
- Halfway between a rocket launcher and a GL.
- Increased impact damage but very poor blast radius and AoE damage.
Salvo Rocket Launchers
- Heavy rocket launchers that fire a barrage of smaller rockets with 1 ammo.
- Fires 6 per trigger pull with very little delay within the burst.
- Each rocket is smaller with reduced blast radius and damage.
Rapid Fire LFRs
- Very fast charging (340 ms)
- fires a single precision bolt with each charge
- deep ammo reserves with very high total damage.
- Halfway between a LFR and a MG
High Impact LFR
- Think Sleeper archetype.
Light Burst MGs
- Fires 6 round burst. 600 RPM.
