I think this Aspect should function more like one that protects teammates, similar to how some Titans use Stronghold and Swords to draw the boss's attention and shield their allies.
Therefore, I suggest the following adjustments:
When equipped with Ursa Furiosa and Unbreakable Aspect, the summoned Void Shield will no longer gradually drain grenade energy. Instead, taking damage will cause it to release a shockwave (similar to a sword’s Flash Counter, with a cooldown between activations).
This way, in PVE, it would function similarly to a Titan wielding a sword with stronghold, allowing them to draw aggro from certain bosses.
However, this might disrupt PVP balance, so I propose that when using the above gear, player-inflicted damage on the Void Shield should significantly drain its grenade energy to prevent unlimited blocking.

I like where this is going. Unfortunately, this is Bungie we are talking about. They can't make seperate changes between PvE and PvP even if they tried. Just look at YAS before and after Season of the Deep or Well and Bubble thanks to the whole Trials nonsense. Nerfs that made them worse in PvE when the problem was exclusively in PvP.
