Bungie account friend requests not working.
Im trying to play with a friend on PS5 while i'm on xbox. I sent him a bungie friend request originally and it said it went through. Then I went to my friends list and didn't see him there. Now we have been trying to re-send friend requests back and forth, but they just fall through. Overall it seems like the system is a mess and very glitched. Can anyone help?

For some additional information on your Bungie Friend list (including limitations and other information), along with some help managing invites, we recommend reviewing our [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/4403006598164-Destiny-2-Cross-Play-Guide]Cross Play Guide[/url]. We'd also recommend your friend and yourself reviewing your privacy settings, to ensure you are able to send/receive invites from other players. The last thing we'd recommend you both try doing, if it's not set already, is going to your Bungie.Net account, go to Settings, then Account Linking, and ensuring the "display on public profile" is checked.
