Cross Save Authentication Error
I recently started playing Destiny 2 on PC. I created an account with Bungie.net with my Steam account and linked it. I wanted to do the Cross Save so I could play on my Xbox as well. I get an Authenication Error when trying to link my Xbox account. The error code: ErrorMoreThanOneCredentialOnOriginalUser. I found out that a long time ago I also set up a Bungie account for my Xbox and forgot. Is there a way for me to still merge these accounts? Thank you for the help!

2 RepliesEdited by EckyThump: 6/18/2025 2:13:00 PMHey there, unfortunately not - the unlinking policy update of March 2025 means that platform accounts can no longer be unlinked from Bungie Account, meaning if platform account A and B are linked to Bungie Accounts 1 and 2 respectively, then you can't link both A and B together under 1, because that would involve unlinking platform account B from Bungie Account 2.
