Get Rid Of Forced Co-op Story Missions
Can we please go back to Destiny 1 style Campaigns again. Stop making missions require a fireteam to complete. Sick of being a solo player before unable to complete quest cause i cant find a fireteam. Yes i tried the LFG and nothing, tried over a couple of hours and nothing. I just want to be able to play the campaign and episodes through without issues.

I soloed every campaign on each character and can confidently say I have no idea what you’re on about. Dual Destiny and the OPTIONAL quest for Microcosm? Neither are required. The strike is match-made. Exotic missions and dungeons are solo-able. Raids aren’t mandatory.

Get some friends and try talking to them.

I’ve finally stopped playing after many years and am free!!! Check my stats, a genuine vet slowly getting hacked off, reducing the time spent in raids and dungeons until finally… gone. I had to look at the forum, still a habit.

I used to think this way back in d1 although you could solo I just wasn’t good enough then my dad who was much more powerful helped me and it was way more fun. The point of destiny is to do ok on your own but with each person you do exponentially better together. Making a bunch of friends and playing with people in my clan is a lot of fun and now not to brag but I’m pretty good at the game or at least knowledgeable and I show a lot people how to do stuff which is really fun

A total of 2 quests that require you to actually play with others isn't stopping you from doing either campaigns or seasonal story content. Quests for specific gear that isn't tied to any form of actual story content outside of using already completed missions doesn't mean you're locked out of anything. You also shouldn't play a game designed around playing with others if you can't handle doing that.

The 3 Co-op missions are optional though, hence the naming. Nobody's "forcing" you to do them.

16 RepliesUneducated cries get you nowhere. The coop missions are not part of the campaign. Just don't play them. You miss out on an great exotic, but that's what you are used to as a solo player in an mmo.

32 RepliesI agree 💯....lots of people don't pay attention in missions like encore...or Kell's fall...they are definitely story related and definitely a steep spike in difficulty compared to the other story missions....the story and lore of destiny is very interesting and worth delving into...but if you can't even do the missions it's very confusing...the story regularly refers to raids and exotic missions and the lore and dialogue in them...

There's only 3 missions out of 50 that require a team.... wtf are you complaining about dude -
1 ReplyAll Destiny campaigns (Chicken or Legendary difficulty), are made to be ran solo, but they are more fun to do with a fireteam, imho. The whole theme of Destiny, is that it takes UNITY/team effort to complete the greatest of tasks/challenges, etc etc. 🤜
