According to the support team I have ongoing network issues affecting other players, yet I do not experience any issues according to other players I know and play against in private matches nor do I encounter any issues when playing pve activities.
I have been trying and trying to fix these issues to no avail. I’ve gone through all of troubleshooting articles. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on upgrading my internet, buying a new router because the ISP provided one is a combination modem/router, and all kinds of other fixes only to get the same automated email from Bungie saying something’s wrong, but not providing any insight or details whatsoever. It’s not jitter, ping, packet loss, etc. It’s not even an actual person sending the email. This all started when I moved into a new residence. I tried EVERYTHING and now not only can I not play any crucible for 2 months but as I can’t fix these “issues” I’m told I have, if I play after the 2 month suspension is lifted I will receive a permanent ban from crucible. As crucible is almost what I exclusively play, I have no actual reason to play this game anymore.
I request a refund for my purchase of Edge of Fate. I refuse to pay for an expansion and not be able to play half of the content, the only half of the content I usually play. I guess I’m finally done with this game after 10 years, and it’s because of the most frustrating and idiotic thing. Imgur link is to the several automated emails I’ve received regarding this issue, providing no actual help or clarification.
if I play after the 2 month suspension is lifted I will receive a permanent ban from crucible.
There is no longer a permanent restriction for connection issues. The process is 2 weeks, then 2 months repeating.
I request a refund for my purchase of Edge of Fate.
All refund requests would need to be made with the retailer from which you made the purchase and subject to their refund policies. The reasons that can cause a restriction can be found here: Why was I Restricted? Restrictions for Connections: The 1st restriction is for 2 weeks Each additional will be 2 months If you believe the restriction was placed in error, feel free to submit an appeal on this Page.
