The minuscule stat bumps is NOT worth it to me. .5 seconds or even 1 second to some timer or +5 to reload, range, stability, handling, etc added is NOT worth the headache to me. I don’t care about the cosmetics on them either because 9 out of 10 times it will be ugly and I’m just going to use a shader anyway. JMO

1 ReplyPersonally, I wouldn't mind if every difficulty had the *chance* to drop Tier 5 loot, it would have to be very rare of course on the lowest difficulty and guaranteed on the highest. I don't believe the status quo will change much (if at all) with this new Tiered system otherwise. Players will continue to farm for loot as usual, while the top end will still only have the best gear with less apparent "effort" at least from a casual viewer's perspective. It does give players something to strive for, but if they don't have the right group or friend willing to teach/carry them, it is much more likely they will just give up and play something else. Extra playtime should be incentivized even if it is a lower difficulty, much like over-leveling, which absolutely needs to come back with the seasonal reset they are planning.

If people have tier five stuff, good for them. It doesn't really have an impact on my life or how I do things. But that's just me.
