Timeline Refelction / Ares Desparado (Spire of the Watcher mission) bugged and can't move on
I have been trying to do the last quest in order to rank up to level 4 in destiny 2. In order to do that I have to finish the Ares Desparado quest that Ikora Rey gives you. (At first I wasnt able to start the mission because it kept telling me that I needed to talk to Ikora Rey and wouldnt change. I fixed that by creating a new character and excepting the quest on that character and it fixed that problem.) Then I went and did the quest TWICE and now the quest is completely gone but it isnt finished and I cant rank up. I even bought the dungeon key hoping that would fix it and it hasn't. The mission is even gone on my second character so I can't even abandon and re acquire it. I need help because I am going to lose my mind if I have to do this mission one more time
The quest doesn't appear in my list of quests anymore and it still says that I need to talk to ikora rey to complete the quest. She doesn't have anything. I have bought the dungeon key. Help.

1 ReplyAres Desperado has nothing to do with Guardian Rank/Journey. You are looking for a quest specifically named 'Timeline Reflection', have a deep look through your quests and the abandoned quest kiosk at the Tower if she doesn't offer you it.

Sorry just confirming something, 'Timeline Reflection' consists of 'Last Call' from Forsaken, 'Crux of Stasis' from Beyond Light, 'The Last Chance' from Witch Queen and 'Downfall' from Lightfall. You can launch these, I think, from the timeline icon on the Destinations map, top right of the screen. Rank 4 shouldn't be locked behind a legacy dungeon key mission like 'Ares Desperado', that's just the Spire of the Watcher intro quest and is not related to Guardian Ranks.
