I would keep all the exotic armor, thats just me. There's too many to list all the good ones & their applications for all 3 classes & different play styles. The exotic weapons can always be pulled from collections if you dismantle them. I think that will be the same after the EoF, hopefully. What I'm not sure about is weapon-crafting. Do the WitchQueen campaign & unlock the Relic in the Enclave. It will allow you to craft/customize certain legendary & exotic weapons with the perks that you prefer, including any legendary raid weapons that you've unlocked. Again, just my preference, but I rather craft them all how I want them than depend on complete RNG to get what I want... even if they'll be "underpowered" when EoF drops. You can google what the "god-roll" is for those weapons & craft them accordingly. Some of my favorite crafted weapons are Lost Signal, Scatter Signal, Supremacy, Fang of IrYut, FateBringer, Corrective Measure, Bequest... the meta exotics for now are QueenBreaker & Lord of Wolves... ThunderLord, Whisper & Tractor Cannon have their uses. Microcosm is good for Tormentors. Legendary armor is not worth chasing now, we'll all be reset to level 10 power/light at EoF & we'll have to grind for new armor at various tiers of difficulty. If you have some perfectly spiked artifice armor or something in the vault, by all means keep it, but dont worry about acquiring new armor now. Do what you can to get thru the next few weeks.
