I'm out, done with this game's RNG.

Only posting this to explain why I've stopped playing, and Bungie doesn't have a contact form so... here's my feedback: I've been a D1 and D2 player since both games came out. I have every content expansion for D2 and played all the way up until Rite of the Nine when I dropped off. Usually I'd be back in for that, and would have pre-ordered the next expansion. Unfortunately, not anymore. I'm just too over the grind in this game to keep playing. If you ever announce a change to allow loot, all loot, to be acquired in some deterministic way, eg the return of global crafting and quest-lines to earn raid and dungeon exotics, I would love to return. My favorite moments in Destiny are playing new content for the first time, progressing through the story, and build-crafting. Re-running the same activity over and over again in the hopes of getting something with zero indication of progress is just extremely boring now. I need to feel like I'm making progress towards a goal if I'm going to have fun spending a ton of time in the same activities. Otherwise it feels like a total waste to just roll the dice again. I want to feel that anticipation of getting a drop again, to feel the anticipation of unlocking a new exotic to enable new builds to try out. Rolling the 5% die every time, or a 10% die, or whatever it is if you achieve all the insane triumph scores, is not enjoyable. It's defeating. And I'm content to say I've lost interest until that changes. Hope to see you again later.
I want to feel that anticipation of getting a drop again
You want to feel the anticipation of getting a drop, but want to be told exactly when your going to get it ?,do you have to have a schedule for everything in your life ? RNG has been around since D1 Vanilla, its the entire point of looter shooters, and mmos, yes bad luck can be depressing, but when it finally drops, that dissapointment turns into jubilation D2 floods you with Exotics, you can get any new exotic from Rahool, play 30 minutes and you will have a post office full of exotic engrams, so you can try builds at anytime, Exotics mean diddly squat in D2 because of listening to people who want to play the game less, and get the same rewards has people who play more With crafting, people get the pattern, and never touch the activity again, everything is on a schedule, a pattern, a boring routine, but the prospect of what you might get, keeps people playing
