I understand this dungeon is still fairly newish, compared to sundered doctrine, but my goodness. I’m just a casual tryna beat this dungeon for the first time by myself for the accomplishment and it’s just incredibly frustrating how small that damage phase is for ranieks, like why does damage phase feel like it immediately begins before I shoot the replicator clone and not afterward. This is just annoying to deal with, I know I sound entitled but jeez, I’ve soloed GOTD, SOTW etc, even 3 manned raids but cmon. This is so incredibly frustrating

It used to be a bit longer but Bungie in their unfathomable wisdom decided that was fun so they reduced the amount of clones but left the health of the boss untouched. Wonderful isn't it?

This dungeon would be so much more amazing if they changed that damage phase to be a few seconds longer and the final boss arena to not have random lightning pools that blend into the terrain.

it is not something you go for on hunter. vespers host is leaps and bounds harder to solo than any other dungeon and hunter makes it nearly impossible, not in a "solo dungeons are always a challenge" way but in a "its harder than a lot of solo/lowman raid challenges" way. Your only viable option for damage on hunter is tether with a one for all hypotrochoid anything else will take like 6 phases, and you have absolutely nothing for survivability against the puppeteer.
