I have a total of 37+ community members. It’s getting harder and harder to recruit when people don’t wanna be social or helpful. Pretty frustrating when you’re tryna run a clan that socializes and will pitch in to talk or help each other.
Let’s talk about something real quick. You grow your community, your clan, you do great and then it all goes downhill. It gets worse and worse and sometimes makes you either disband or wanna say: “what am I doing with my life?”
At the end of the day we’re all just members of the community only sitting with certain people because we all have personalities, different quirks and perks, and whatnot.
It’s more or less when you invite people into your community to make sure they fit. But it’s not always the case since it’s on both ends. Either you, the clan recruiter just invite people without reading what they’re looking for or the invitees don’t read what the clan expects
So what was the point of this post? Well if you got the bottom you would see that I am not looking to merge or anything at all. In fact, I won’t ever do so. Doing public tests like these show if you as a recruiter care what people say. So let’s see how this social experiment goes

The first thing I’d like to say is thanks for stepping out of the forums shadow and saying something personal that I’m sure is on a lot of clan admin’s minds, I know it’s constantly on mine. Secondly anyone that boohoos’s this post has just given up on being a decent human. Shame Been doing this since 2015 and whilst I’m not the best leader/admin around by any means I certainly have had almost every experience a small time (sub 60) clan leader can have, some great some not so great and a lot of tedium mixed up in between. With the diminishing population I think most are finding it very hard to attract the right and correct people for there clan type. My clans not a full sweat exp for example, we have a mixed bag from highly skilled to new but my main target is to find those looking for laughs and jokes, social fun and making friends. that’s not for everyone, some are about the full grind and that’s fine and some treat the clan like an LFG which I guess is also fine, but for me and my clan especially… clans are for making friends and I try my hardest to tell people what the clans about but that doesn’t stop people joining without those ideals. Then I blame myself and have to consider the fact that I’m too eager to fill spots as the process is so slow and getting responses from DM’s is like gettin blood from the stone…and if I ask too many questions are they just gonna say ‘aaahh feck ya clan’ lol. There are plenty of things that annoy me about recruiting, and admin in general. posts without timezones for example and sending out 15 messages a day without a reply but this is the job and I do it gladly for the chance to find new people to play with and bring into a community. It’s genuinely one of the best feelings I have playing this game when I hear/see a group of strangers vibing that I’ve managed to wrangle together, I just wish it was a bit easier at times.
