this may be a bit of a controversial thing to say, but I think Consecration does deserve a nerf, but Throwing hammer and shield deserve a magnetism buff.
I don't typically use the "nerf" word lightly.
but when prismatic consecration is doing as much damage as meta heavies.. It may have a problem and it needs to be tweaked down to be a little more like the other abilities.
but I also want some under-utilized abilities to be buffed if they nerf it, though. and I think the throwing melee abilities take enough skill and practice to use to warrant a buff and make them feel more rewarding to use.
Edit: I realize my error, and it would probably make more sense if hunters and warlocks got something as strong as it.

Edited by ben: 6/10/2025 5:49:14 AMAs someone who loves to play consecration synthos it would definitely be good for balance if it was nerfed, it especially shines in GMs and between that and storm's keep striker there is no place for anything other than titan in GMs. The thing is I would really like if it other things on prismatic titan were brought up to make more builds viable in endgame content. Bolt charge is getting severely nerfed when flashover and defib are gone, but they could half the damage of consecration and the heal from knockout and I will still never use the shield thing, diamond lance, or drengr's leash. This was a trash selection of aspects and they need to make them a whole lot better to get me to use them even in a world where consecration is butchered. I would just start using sunbreaker over anything on prismatic "Why not forego the nerfs and just make everything as good as consecration!" this is a short sighted take from someone that has not experienced peak utilization of syntho consecration. Forget about balance and powercreep, it's so broken that I genuinely dont know how you make any other aspect in the game hold a candle. The very least they could do is maybe nerf specifically the class item version of synthoceps, that way you at least are more encouraged to use the gauntlets and thus have to be more thoughtful about your melee usage since you dont have HOIL and cant literally just use it on every group of 3 red bars. But even then, with 100 strength and some mods and fragments you still have constant uptime even without HOIL. I prefer the gauntlets these days anyway because they buff your super damage too so you basically get double limit break, and I have no problem playing around no HOIL
