Shouldn't our Character have a Throne World and Access to Taken/Hive/Blighted powers? Eris has basically taught us how.

Don't you think with all Eris has had us do up till now we should have a Throne World. Not one made of Dark or even Light but a Prismatic Throne World that grants us access to our own spin on their powers that Eris has basically been slowly teaching us about. What do you think? A Subclass built around Ascendance could be a variation of Prismatic that mixes in Hive and Taken power.

  • The thing is, Throne Worlds are distinctly a Hive creation. Mara Sov was only able to create one through her own power (which far exceeds most guardians) Eris’ guidance, and Riven that Last Ahamakara. Even so, Mara can’t resurrect from her Throne Worlds traditionally, and needs to be Re-Summoned by individuals like Eris. Furthermore, Eris herself was only able to create a Throne Worlds traditionally upon becoming a Hive God, despite practicing her own Hive Magic for extended periods of time. Even with her hand in the death of Crota, Oryx, and thousands of Hive. The Mindslayer (or whatever that Scorns name was) was only able to create a throne world thanks to his attachment to Darkness through Dark Ether, his own personal study of the hive, and his part in Killing Cayde 6. He himself had essentially become Hive himself in order to do it, thus why he was able to command hive to a certain extent. Toland is the same as the Scorn, having only been able to create a tiny Throne Worlds traditionally upon after having gone through a process where he forsake his own humanity. Just practicing Hive Logic doesn’t prove oneself capable of creating a Throne World. Chances are, the Guardian doesn’t have a Throne World, but it’s cool to think about what one could look like.

    • No. Taking is too dangerous and close to ontological evil. To be put into the hands of the players.

    • If we do, ghost would have to die and then us die in order to know. Wouldn’t that mean we lose the light?

We would probably have to die like eris in order to access it but we most likely do have one considering we practice the sword logic many times

    • The Guardian most likely has a throne world we just haven't found access to it, and considering how many powerful beings we've killed over the years its probably a big one.
