Bungie devs, I am now 45 and have 3 kids of very ranging ages. 10 years ago my wife got me an Xbox for my bday. I played no other game other than Destiny. I have never in my life played a better game not that I played many others. My respect to you and I still enjoy today so I just wanted to give thanks to you all and keep doing the good work. I’ve played since Destiny 1 Alpha. I don’t always hop on to join the latest activities. In fact, I’m as casual as it gets. Chasing exotics and build crafting/testing is why I’m still here. It’s sad that everything has been nerfed to the ground and that Bungie listens to the elitists more often than the community, but that’s their own undoing. Destiny is a game to play when nothing else makes you excited to play anymore. Although Heavy Metal was fun for a few matches, it would be better off as a weekly PvP rotation. Court of Blades is too annoying with the boss health gates. The only thing that was fun for me was Rushdown and that had no business being an annual event. Although, I have to give credit where it’s due and Explorer Mode dungeons are fun for new players. If only they could introduce this to Raids and significantly decrease boss health while making puzzles shorter and more forgiving, it would be a much welcome addition for casual players. Games are supposed to be fun, and somewhere down the line Bungie forgot that. They need to stop listening to streamers.

3 RepliesDestiny has become my go to game since launch. But I can’t sit here and offer kind words. This game could be leagues better than what it is. It really feels like they are sabotaging the game or don’t know what they’re doing anymore. I absolutely love the game, but we deserve way better than what Bungie is doing.

Great post man! I still enjoy playing the game too. It has its ups and downs but it’s my favorite FPS. Too many have zero perspective that video games are a hobby and should be fun.

Same for me, always get destiny 2 with the annual pass and have a game that I can enjoy for the whole year. If Bungie were to keep every seasonal content in the game rather removing it every expansion there would be so much to do for everyone. Games like WoW and FFXIV have all the content still in game for players to engage with, if Bungie were to do this with destiny it would be one of the best games out right now. Due to technical limitations of older consoles I can understand why Bungie removes them, if everything were to remain intact we would probably need a terabyte of SSD or HDD space which I personally would be ok with. Not many would agree on this though, and the work to maintain everything is definitely tough on the devs. -

I feel the same. It's coming up on 3 years now for me. Every once in a while, I play something else briefly with my limited free time, but I keep coming back to Destiny. I've finished the campaigns and am down to side quests and exotics mostly. It's kept me engaged, and looking forward to the next update. Some I've enjoyed, others not so much, but there's always something I'm happy to do.
