Ban Input Alternating Device users.

Title ^ Why? -Manipulates matchmaking. eg. Game thinks they are on Controller > matches against controller. Isn't matchmaking manip against terms of service? -Added aim assist. eg. Game thinks they are on controller adds aim assist. They are on MnK with aim assist. -Anti - recoil & additional aim assist scripts. Nuff said. How long are going to let them ruin pvp (console, especially comp and trials) ? Start banning. Undetectable you argue? BS. Add 'Input Manipulation' as an option under cheating in reporting system, and we'll point em' out to you. all you need to do is review. Most don't even try hiding it, they'll spin around like 'over 20 sense fast' as celebration after they kill you. Remember the only reason I take time to do this is because I love n care and want this game to prosper.

  • Ok so this sadly, aside from players reporting genuinely will require Microsoft and Sony to actually implement OS level detection and tools for devs to use. I know Microsoft commented on the matter like 4 or 5 years ago themselves, I'd need to find it again. Bungie is absolutely inept but this is definitely outside of their control past user reports. Microsoft (Xbox/PC) and Sony (PS) are going to need to keep a catalog of device IDs that actually make X device function in the OS and provide the IDs to devs/anti-cheats and maintain the list so they can give the ability to auto warn and auto disable the offending hardware. Sadly, this will never happen. A quick look will show on Microsoft's own forums that they officially do not care. They are more than happy to allow all input changing devices to continue to exist on all titles on their console despite thousands of people every year for the past nearly decade asking for them to do something. The reasoning given is 1, its up to the devs (which many have said they can't do it and 100% makes sense, they'd need serious OS access to do anything) and 2, the devices ride the line of a "legitimate ID and therefore Microsoft won't risk banning legitamite devices which is 1000% BS. Hopefully this helps, this is a fight I tried fighting years ago while still on console. Nobody cares, the current culture is ok with cheaters at a fundamental level sadly.
