I have tried all of the conventional fixes and have identified that my account has cross communication on a different cross save platform off.
This means that in game i can talk using game chat but i can not hear anyone else through game chat. the audio icon removes the x like they are talking but i never see the icon for active talking.
with some testing i found that if i use a different account on the same PC with the same setup that account can use game chat meaning its a cross save issue.
The problem is that I no longer have access to an Xbox that I can use to reset the sound settings available.
I have tried removing and re-adding my xbox cross save account and that doesn't work either.
Is there a process for bungie to do a global settings reset on my account so I can get game chat back on my main account?
