It would be fun if there were a few different maps, but this doesn't actually suck.
No one has build advantages, there's no half-second TTK weapons, and teamwork is (sort of) meaningful. All in all it might be the best PVP mode since SRL.

It’s ok …got the sparrow and will never touch again .

I quite like it.

I played to 15 and got the Sparrow. Had a bit of fun along the way. Once you learn to aim off to where the target is going to be when the shot lands, rather than where it is when you fire, it's pretty fun. Bungie tried something different, fair play to them. It's not perfect but it's a fun diversion from the usual grind.

Edited by ACROCANTHUS: 5/11/2025 8:02:37 PMNeeds more maps. Vehicles aren't properly balanced. There's an issue with 3v1 encounters happening way too often. People are spawning behind me WAY too often and getting free damage. There need to be more ways to heal/reload special weapons. Even pass progresses painfully slow when you don't have challenges

Different maps, different vehicles, other ways to heal, more attack types, etc. Also, the vehicles could be a bit less clunky, but it is an intention design choice atm to have them be a bit “heavy”. Most people I have talked to don’t like it though.

It doesn't suck.. its very different from PVP or anything in the game.. you can just load up a match and not think much about it.. ..once you learn the movement.. where to aim shots.. how 2ndary fire works.. (a few games) its just very easy to load-up.. ...the event screen is better ....but its soooo bare-bones without maps (and another vehicle class) and that makes it feel like a slog to get to the sparrow... but I see its not supposed to replace other things in the game.. its just this quick-mini game ....Bungie's pattern is to really drop something (activity) and let it rot. If they do this here it will just be another example that team hasn't learned jack squat and is still lead by the same losers.. so a barely adequate MVP that needs iteration... lets see what they do
