Heavy metal is fun
I actually enjoy it. Never seen tanks or brigs dominate consistently. I think we need more goofy fun like this. Please do not listen to the haters. Destiny pvp needs to be greater than just TDM. That mentality has eroded the games pvp from being goofy fun. It will never see a competitive scene. So stop treating it as such.

I like it too, just i would love it has better rewards, all the HM engrams just give me by far nightfall weapons, non adepts.

1 ReplySlogging around a giant map looking for 3 enemies, at blazing speeds of 2mph, and shoot 1 round per hour at them It's slow and boring The Tanks and Briggs need to be faster The weapon should shoot drastically faster Dodges should be unlimited Should be 6v6 or 8v8, the map is too big for 3v3, half the time you spend slogging to the other side of the map looking for the enemy

Its fun the first 3 matches then the novelty quickly vanishes honestly the fact that tanks are so grossly overpowered in comparison to brings is hilarious and the grind for a sparrow is kinda absurd considering how long the matches can take.

The haters, are not hating the idea of Heavy metal, but just the execution of it. I for example who made a post about how bad Heavy metal is, wouldn't mind a game mode like it. But in the state that it is in right now, i never want to play it again. They could take this a step further and have these vehicle combat into pve. Have us storm an enemy base with Brigs or even Cabal tanks. Could be awesome.

I mostly agree, also liked the cutscene in the beginning of the match. But tanks do seem kinda overpowered. I managed to win as brigs once but that’s was because we had to outsmart them

I can agree with this, this to me personally is more fun than getting stomped by a bunch invis hunters. The rite of the nine was an absolute -blam!- show on launch though for something as tiny as this even is.

Partially agree... I think it's fun. I don't agree that it doesn't have a future for real competitive play. I think it does. If Bungie kept this around, I'd invest in it. I don't need to worry about the meta or my loadout. As it stands 2 curated options, same for my opponents. I don't think it's perfect yet, but I'll repeat the title of my feedback post, "The purest PvP experience Destiny has ever had". 😇👍💠

Unfortunately, its essentially a "party" mode and too dissimilar from regular Destiny PVP for it to be appealing to me or many of my friends. EDIT: And it is sad, because my all-time favorite PVP mode in Destiny is Combined Arms.
