Heavy Metal tanks is the worst vehicle movement experience I had...
What is this..? How to control it?
So you don't have "back" and "front", it always depends on you camera, which is bad as hell btw cause why it rides where I look??? I know how to drive, I don't need Halo vehicles in Destiny, I thought we are over it. Going sideway is hard cause you can randomly change direction because of uncontrollable movement. And the only playstyle tank has is... push forward and then get rotated by Brig cause your movement is this bad???
You can't normally dash in directions you want mid fight cause you will lose control, while brig for sure can. So you either fight head-on or run, what is this?
upd after more games: Still can't control tank. Brig movement is so easy and dash is just like icarus dash, tank is still hard af to control.
Also, why dash on brig and on tank are different key binds??

I don't know why everyone is complaining about the tanks that's how tanks drive your forward is the turret all you need to do is learn to drive better...having treads vs having legs is a very different form of movement and both have advantages and disadvantages...

You play on MnK? I figured, it is way way easier to control the tank with a controller, so I connected my Xbox controller to the pc. And it went so much better. Driving those tanks with MnK is super bad..

Will say more maps would be nice to let players enjoy battles on different terrain and environments. AGREED!!! This is one of those get title, never touch it again type game modes. Literal CHEEKS! I win a game, lose 15. Why does it seem like the enemy guns ready and shoot so much more rapidly then mine and my teams?

How are these lucky -blam!- who get to play tank every game? Sure as hell isnt me. Played about 12 games and been on Team Brig 10 times. So 2 wins and 10 losses :)

Tanks had a proper movement before this sharted out game mode got chucked at us as placeholder for content. Body movement and turret movement were entirely separate because you have to aim while moving. It worked and made sense. Now? Why the -blam!- would people want to move and shoot at the same time. That's too much hassle. Go use the tank as a sparrow and get stuck in everything, EVERYWHERE. Go have fun grinding your nerves playing 6 rounds in a row with the godforsaken tank. ...... YEEEEEEY

Worst experience in Destiny history. The control movement sucks big time (at least on console) and if you you stand no chance of out running a determined brig. And target lock on a tank, yep it so does not lock. Pretty much a warlocks tracking nova bomb, heads right for the nearest non-brig next to the brig you target locked on too EVEN IF THAT BRIG IS NOT MOVING!!! Give me a skimmer that shots crap and [i]maybe[/i] I'd play more. Yep - NOPE!

Tanks have faster movement and rotation, it feels pretty one sided to be honest and most games are tank wins. It's getting old pretty quick. Once I get the Sparrow unlocked that will be it for me. Bring. Back. SRL.

i was wondering if there was going to be comments on this... it's a shame they couldn't just give the Brigg the same capabilities as the Drake... the missles suck , they lost the whole feel of driving the Tank and the purpose of what made it fun.. the mode itself and the concept is fun , Nerfing the Drake in terms of movement and missle tracking is a L.
