This 'fix' killed LFG and RTA GoS farms. Permas made GoS actually playable for farmers/runners; being able to use a sword for mechanics and still have rally for DPS was huge, for the arenas are so massive that walking feels absolutely terrible. Or being able to have someone skip and pull without needing to wipe for flag. I don't do the raid much myself, but if I wanted to, it's nice looking in FtF and seeing a post I'll only have to spend 20 minutes **MAX** in, and ENJOY it. But nobody good posts anymore, because nobody good does that raid anymore.
I don't want to spend 40+ minutes waiting for people to grab their chests, teaching the 1 or 2 people that don't kwtd who joined a post tagged 'Experience Requested' anyway, or do mechanics the way John Destiny's Clan taught them when the rest of the fireteam does it normally. Or if I'm really lucky, end up with a team that expected to get carried by everyone else. To me, and many, the fun in raids comes in doing it fast, with all the permas to circumvent the huge arenas, with times to beat in RR, and skips to ignore the transitions we've already seen plenty of times. The continuous lowering of the skill ceiling in this game needs to be studied. I miss my toxic GoS farmers.
