API Throttling
Hi dear Devs and Infra,
may we have Destiny Item Manager and Braytech (and all the other tools) working again ?
i mean... i understand the need for throttling, but this is going nowhere right now.
maybe change the throttling strategy to pin on client IP (like 15 ops/minute per IP) but doing it on a global level is basically not really realistic for the users even if it make sense from a server perspective.
right now, it's more i get 30 try to move an item from vault to character, it's not really useable, and please no spiel about "you can do in game", when you'll implement item searching in game i would say "maybe" but right now it's not practical to do vault management in game.
not a criticism, but please, that throttling is pure pain for the users.

Got an error code 5 times trying to load this topic and it took me 5 minutes and 3 devices to even log into the forums. It's getting old fast and it started with the Marathon alpha.. a game no one asked for and no one seems to cares about at this point. Yet the servers remain throttled. I don't understand the need for throttling either. Just have a decent infra structure and you won't have to do that. It's not like either D2 or Marathon are drowning in players rn so infra should not struggle at all let alone this bad.
