…when Bungie can’t even shut Drifter up or stop the New Subclass Acquired prompts from popping up?
P.S. This is really embarrassing from a company that prides itself on its game development.
…when Bungie can’t even shut Drifter up
For what it’s worth you can get Drifter to stop chatting you up in Orbit by progressing the Act I Questline to Step 18 of 21. While clearly annoying the repeated dialogue doesn’t actually break anything in the game and is tied to content that is going away in a little over two months, so I wouldn’t get my hopes up that the devs will suddenly devote the time to making any changes there.
stop the New Subclass Acquired prompts from popping up?
This issue on the other hand, which on its face seems unlikely to suddenly become a non-issue with the launch of Edge of Fate, will hopefully get addressed at some point down the line as only way for the player to prevent the New Subclass Unlocked messages from popping up appears to be to avoid playing on alternate characters altogether (switching between Guardians on one’s account and completing specific types of actions such as defeating certain Ultra combatants or passing through the initial portal in Garden of Salvation, for example, consistently activates the popup messages). You can shut the drifter up anytime, put dialogue to 0 Or finish the quest on that character
