First things first - really excited to play the new upcoming content. Destiny's Light & Dark Saga was probably my favourite science fiction media experience of all time. New armor concept looks great and is the solution to the "lock-in" problem that's been irksome for some time. Keen to see what the metroidvania approach will feel like. I like that genre, so glad to see it being experimented with in Destiny. Love lore of the Nine, so happy with the new direction. Lots of good stuff presented, so I'm ready to go. The Destiny universe is amazing. I understand that there may be commercial pressure that forces this kind of Star Wars tie in as shown with Renegades. I wish the game didn't need it. It's own universe and style is so distinct and unique. I prefer the Destiny experience (I understand others may enjoy Star Wars a lot). At least in terms of creative direction, I hope Bungie feels sufficiently proud of their own creation that they don't need to bring in this stuff from other universes. I'm playing regardless, so it's just feedback for the future. Destiny is already an S-tier universe. It doesn't need cameo trinkets from other franchises.
