I think a lot of the changes will be really good, they sound like a refreshing change whilst also coming back towards D1 principles but I have a concern regarding bloat. This new saga feels like a fresh step but we are bringing with us so much old stuff - this really would have been the best time for a D3 or at least a tidy up. Tiered weapons will make all our old stuff obsolete by the sounds of it - armour too yet all this old stuff will still be in the game. The Star Wars stuff… I dunno, I’m hoping it’s better than it sounds. I’ll reserve judgement for closer to the time. If it’s literally taking cues from it but not taking characters or trying to reference the plot of Star Wars in anyway, that’s fine. Homage OK, universe blending…. No thanks.
