Name change
Hey all! I’m a returning player to destiny. I have played the game since D1 and took a break before final shape came out. I was on pc for a little bit then came back to console and changed my gamertag. I had recently changed my Bungie name and didn’t realize there was a limit and I’m currently stuck with a name I hate. Is there a way to change it still even though it says I have none available or do we get more with each new expansion. Any help is greatly appreciated.

2 RepliesHey there, we should all have three name changes available, but Bungie are investigating reports of name changes going missing, sounds like you're affected. While there has not been an announcement yet, hopefully that will be fixed and you'll get the missing two changes back. Unfortunately for now there is no way to get a new change, there is no set schedule to being given new name changes (the first was in 2021, the second was with Into the Light in 2024, the third was later in 2024 due to a wide-reaching automod misfire) and they are not given out on request. However if you wanted your name blanked out to a default name, you can do that through a privacy request.
