I keep getting constant Broccoli codes/crashes since Heresy dropped. Absolutely nothing has worked to fix it. I'm at my wits end.
This is my second time posting the same problem that hasn't changed since February when Heresy came out. Sorry for the long read but I want to be as detailed as possible.
I keep getting Broccoli codes randomly throughout my play sessions. It could be 2 minutes after starting the game, when loading into an activity, playing Crucible, just randomly 2 hours in or worse, right before the boss is killed and it crashes and I don't get the loot. I never know when my game will crash (which makes the problem more difficult to pinpoint but I still submit the error report to AMD every single time.) It's to the point where I have the crash report prompts in my notepad and I just copy and paste since I can't do anything else.
- Destiny 2 is the only game in my entire library that is having this problem of crashing randomly.
- I have heard from other players in the community that they are having the same problem with the constant Broccoli crashes and they have also tried a multitude of attempts and nothing has worked. Most have also reported that they have an AMD(usually 7000 series) GPU.
- It will usually freeze up, the sound will keep playing or it will loop continuously and I'm forced to close the game. I have to close Steam entirely and boot it up again.
- I have done everything I can possibly think of. Rolling back drivers, updating drivers, uninstalling Adrenalin, DDU'ing, capping the FPS, Vsync on/off, sfc /scannow shows nothing is wrong, lowering graphics in game, disabling Discord hardware acceleration, Microsoft Game Mode on/off, undervolting/overclocking, changing the RAM speed, resetting network, even changing my builds to not include Bolt Charge just in case that was doing something since that was the big new gameplay feature this Episode. I have tinkered with what feels like every aspect of my PC and nothing works. My last resort would be getting a new GPU which I would prefer not to do since it's a new-ish PC that I got back in December and prices are insane right now.
These are my specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700
Ram: 32gb DDR5
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE
Last time I posted this problem in the forum I got a reply from a Bungie bot with a link to what the Broccoli error code was. I know what the code means, that reply just didn't help.
I hope that a solution is being worked on or that Bungie is aware of the problem. I just want to play my favorite game is all.
