Bungie instead of threatening to ban people for name shaming, how about you do your job and ban people for actually cheating instead of trying to ban some people who actually are trying to help you with information on cheaters. Do you want cheaters to stay Bungie it seems like it? You must be protecting them, quite sad if you ask me. Cheating should have consequences not protection.
Bungie your can find cheaters everywhere on your game and in other media sources. Do some digging, get to work, and do your job you we're hired for and went to college for.

I'm going to assume this was about the post I locked earlier. I'm going to lock this thread as well, as we don't discuss moderator action publicly (incidentally, as this also can lead to naming and shaming if we don't). That said, I'll take this chance to break some things down: In no particular order: 1. As stated before, Bungie has established methods for people to report cheaters, in game and online. They're not going to scour the forums looking for the odd post reporting cheating. 2. Naming and shaming is against the Code of Conduct. No exceptions, not even if you think they deserve it. People get falsely reported all the time, leading to them getting unfairly targeted. But ultimately, no one should be harassing anyone. 3. I'm not a Bungie employee, I'm a volunteer moderator. The actions I take on the forums have no merit or impact to if a cheater gets reviewed or not (see point #1). So in summary, report through official channels. Don't harass anyone online. I'm not Bungie. Please feel free to message me or another ninja of you have questions.
