Let's face it. It's 4% of the game and 1% of the community. Now Bungie has made a PVP game dedicated to gun play and no space magic to complain about it's time we agreed the marriage is over, split the kids between weekend visits, argue over who gets the dog and that Persian rug in the den that everyone hates and go our separate ways.

I do not like & do not (very often) play PvP. In saying that, it's part of Destiny's DNA. It's unfortunate that the balancing can sometimes impact PvE but I can live with that. My main PvP gripe was catalyst quests, but I jus accept that some cats are not gonna come my way. As I'm sure some Crucible folks hate grinding Strikes or Gambit. My issue is more with how PvP has evolved & the player resentment that has festered.. as can be seen in many forum spats. If PvP was removed, it would be similar to a cyclist cutting off a leg with only a few miles left to the finish line. It cannot & will not go. I jus wish the argument didn't cause as much resentment as it does. There's a lot of problems with the game right now, and removing a part as major as PvP will do nothing more than speed up the degradation. Lastly, I would like to see major investments made into it. Even as a nonparticipant, the folks that hold that column up deserve better. PvE has a huge range of things to do & grind for. PvP has very little & the folks keeping the lights on in those playlists deserve more. Good Hunting, Guardians 🫡
