Cannot abandon old quest items
With so much to do in Destiny, I have not been able to play all of my characters. My warlock has the tokens from the Wish-Ender quest. They are useless now but I cannot discard them

See if you can pick up Hunter's Remembrance quest from the kiosk and just finish it. Even if you have Wish Ender maybe it will get rid of your tokens.
