Bungie going solo killed the game
Despite what anyone says, the sunsetting, not so heavy MMO beats are the way for Destiny. Been here since Jan 2015 and this is the worst I’ve ever seen the franchise. Back when people were saying it was dead there was a passion in those who stayed that I’m not seeing now. Forsaken, the Taken King, Rise of Iron and House of Wolves were the pinnacle Destiny experiences.
I will see this to the end but it does sadden me to see the franchise like it is.

The moment they started handing out Exotics, is when the core gameplay loop was broken. Then when the game went F2P, and they maximized the monetization. That’s what killed it for me. I’m just back to play the Story content and may disappear again.
