Into the Light had a lot of hype going into the TWIDs leading up to its launch.
Showing us which weapons are returning and the perks for those weapons....
Superblack making a return...
Etc....
I would've thought by now we would've had the weapon perks for the RotN weapons by now no??
considering:
1. The test weapons were released early.
2. New weapons in the past (& in this week's Twid) always are shown in advance (perks included)
3. Literally right around the corner
And the only mention of Rite of the Nine, is just talking about the judgement handcannon getting a needed buff.
+The 'we won't be talking about the RotN weapons here'
-Like i know the Edge of Fate reveal is important but so is hyping up the event lol.
Also would be really cool to know when / what these Curios of the Nine are going to be used for. Fingers crossed.

Not much to hype, plus it was already leaked, I watched cross play Contest Prophecy all the way up untill the boss I can't wait to get my hands on the new and improved Prosecutor, the 450 buff on Tuesday will make it even better -
I haven't been hyped about anything post Final Shape. It feels like if D2 was a movie, everyone is sitting through the credits expecting to see a cool post-credit scene.

I’m looking forward to getting the weapons with the new perks.

I'm hyped and started prepping for EoF too. Spoilers is why RotN is being kept secrets... However, I do agree they could have teased the weapons. Going to have one of the best origin perks, imo. I'm most excited for the lore implications.

Not much to get hyped about when they take old dungeon weapons change the name to adept and call it an expansion

I'm hyped over rite of the nine. I loved trials of the nine and judgment was my baby. So I'm overly excited -
Why not just......savor the anticipation, instead of getting everything spoiled ahead of time?

Difference is, Into The Light was right before the most monumental Destiny expansion about stopping a universal threat. Players don't really know what they're gearing up to fight at the moment so there isn't much hype.
