Hey bungie? What’s the point of new weapons if we keep searching for same perks combo??
I was excited to hear that we are getting 3 weapons but at soonest I saw the perks columns? I immediately know what we need?
Solar scout? Let me guess incandescent/heal clip
Arc pulse? Jolting feedback blah blah
Bungie? We keep searching for the same perks combinations then what’s the point of getting new weapons?? I was hoping to see something new for perks, especially the NF weapon

To be fair these perks are still relatively new. I can sympathize with the sandbox team that it is hard to come up with new perks worth chasing without breaking the game into the trenches of powercreep (it already low key is there). I remember in forsaken and shadowkeep no one thought they would be able to do better than feeding frenzy/outlaw and kill clip/rampage but theyve continued innovating to make stuff that is more than worth the chase like heal clip, desperate measures, and attrition orbs and I can respect it

We don't have a heal clip Incandescent scout, except for one of the DMT legendary clones, I was hoping they would put that combo on VOC, but they didn't But I see your point, it's like Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing being the best combo on every void weapon now Kills Variety, and guns start feeling all the same -

2 RepliesWe’ve gotten a bunch of new great perks this year. - Jolting Feedback - Demoralize - Rimestealer - Chaos Reshaped - Elemental Honing - Envious Arsenal Or perks that have received big buffs or new releases: - Destabilizing Rounds - Redirection - Attrition Orbs - Magnificent Howl - Master of Arms - Paracausal Affinity And people heavily overvalue some perks like Incandescent (poor AoE damage without ignitions and ignitions heavily need solar subclass) over a wide variety of alternatives.

Jolting feedback is literally a perk from the latest expansion. We will very likely get more new perks in the next DLC. It has literally always been this way. ?????????

Like, the for scout I already know I'm gonna be chasing RH+EP, which I already have on my Nightwatch, while I already have Zen + EP on my superior Taraxipos. Yeah Heal Clip + PI/EP would be something new, but we could have more. A simple fix would be to introduce "prismatic weapons" which would combine perks from different kinetic & elemental weapons, like Heal Clip + Voltshot, Kinetic Tremors + Jolting Feedback. It might be a little OP in some cases, but who cares.
