There's even a brief scene of a clean-shaven Drifter, alongside moments of the ship moving from rusted to well-maintained, and even the marble comprising the Drifter's appearance in the scene. This looks to be an event that happened to Drifter, because the half of the Chess piece he is holding looks aged and worn, while the piece we have looks pristine and new. There is one thing I noticed that wasn't affected by the temporal pulse, and that is the Haul. While the Drifter's ship and the wires attaching the Haul to it change in appearance with each pulse, the Haul doesn't change at all. The Nine gave him that thing, [url=https://www.ishtar-collective.net/entries/potential]and it is an "engine of pure potential" according to the Hidden, specifically Aunor.[/url] It is possible that the Haul might be a piece of that planet, unearthed by the Nine and hooked to Drifter's ship. We only need to wait until May 6th to learn what Edge of Fate is about, even if the Cinematic made me entertain the idea of a time-based Subclass.
