Now before anyone tells me I either let someone log in or my account was somehow hacked, I’ve been reviewing everything and I cannot find signs that this happened. I used to play D1 daily back when it came out. I had around 1100 hours. Today, somehow I remembered about the website “desintytimewasted” and decided to look myself up. Now, I changed usernames on PS last year or longer (my old PS name being my username on this forum), and at first I couldn’t find myself on the website but I remembered I had changed PS names and used my old one, and voila, my profile popped up. It was then that I saw that my D1 characters were all marked as “deleted”. At first I thought they were deleted simply because D1 simply wasn’t active anymore and it seemed logical to me that they’d be deleted and move on to D2 (somehow I didn’t like D2 and only played for an hour or so). But after looking into it and googling it out of curiosity, I saw a ton of posts of people having their characters deleted but the comments always somehow pointed out at the account either being compromised or the user giving access to someone else for trials of Osiris for instance. Now, before I’m accused of either, is there a way for me to see either instance of it being done to my account? Like with a log of logins? I’ve had 2FA on my PSA account for the longest so I honestly doubt my account was compromised. Unless the comments mean the bungie account? But I believe you can only delete in game. Or did I maybe delete them when starting D2? I honestly cannot remember if this is a thing. Could it be that I changed my username and as such my older characters got somehow unassociated to my new username? I just want to get to the bottom of this because it sucks that all my exotics and characters were deleted, and I had some great memories from D1.
