Good evening everyone. I know I'm not the only one who has had Issues with loot grinding. Regardless if you are a PVE player or a PVP player, we all have the same struggle when it comes to getting that one roll you're looking for. Me personally it has become two weapons I've been trying to get for an unknown amount of time now. I can't express my frustration with grinding for a particular weapon. In this case It happens to be the Riposte auto rifle from the competitive playlist. I am aware you can focus this weapon at Shaxx after you have completed three competitive matches a week. Not only do i understand this is a decently okay way to cause more players to play competitive, however the problem comes to the fact you are only allowed to focus a certain amount of them per week. I have been grinding for months now and it's to the point I'm ready to stop playing PVP entirely even though i absolutely love this weapon. I can't bring myself to continue playing against cheaters and grind for crucible engrams only to be able to focus a few a week. I personally believe if its going to a certain amount we can focus, it should be in the drop pool. For those wondering the roll I've been trying to get is Repulser Brace/ Destabilizing Rounds. I've gone through hundreds of engrams and reset my rank so many times without ever getting this roll. I'm not a godlike PVP player so It takes me forever to reset and If i have one good game I'm automatically put into a game where the enemy team Is on a PVP level I can never hope to be at. This causes me to stop playing all together. I love Destiny and have played it since the very beginning all the way back to the black garden. I'm now at the tipping point where I cannot bring myself to continue playing with all the restrictions there are. If i didnt have to grind as hard and as long for certain weapons maybe things would be different. But i just focused the Riposte four times and two of them had almost identical rolls.
