...Give PVP to someone else to develop
Ideally...
...separate the game modes into their own games
...link the vaults / can monetize some vault-pass this way
...but each mode (PVE/PVP) can allow any weapon to be gained in their own mode (don't force players to play your way.. its all earnable anywhere)
...that new studio will be dedicated to building the PVP side so they will fight for dedicated servers, anti-cheat, interesting events/modes, balance, ranks/tournaments, stats and ways to progress players, a range/gauntlet.. other things that emphasize PVP skills
...maybe this will allow Destiny 2.5 to be created as fixing the bugs.. getting this space and concise investment for the 2 sides can be marketed.. can even be a reset
...the main draw, why keep this PVP going you might ask, I really do think the movement and gunplay/gunfeel in the game is unmatched... we just need a team enthused about creating weapons, maps, and things for this side of the game and focused on balance...
So, just a quick thought. All the people whining about Marathon taking Destiny 2 resources (real or not). How are those same people going to take a second game taking more people away from Destiny 2 pve? lmao. Honestly, I hope it happens JUST to see their reaction. I only bring it up because I imagine the venn diagram of people who want pvp in a separate game and people who are mad at marathon for "taking resources" is basically just one circle.
