Looking at how few replies and topics there are on this topic I'd say that no one wanted or is interested in playing chess in a shooter - and certainly not spending time outside the game trying to figure out a "community puzzle". 99 % of the people actually completing the thing will probably just look up Esoterickk's guide (only good D2 content creator) and spend 15 minutes in shame over being stupid enough to suffer through it - which is how I felt. Bungie seems completely lost on what their customers want - which is also evident by their Marathon project. Not only do very few of their current fans want it, it's also not a particulary popular genre. It's like they're going out of their way to become fully consumed by Playstation.
