Error Code Nightingale

Re-installed steam and I keep running into this error: nightingale. I've done this steps so far: 1. Static DNS to 8.8.8.8 and backup 8.8.4.4 (google) and also 1.1.1.1 and backup blank 2. Verified game files 3. Run destiny2.exe as admin 4. Deleted steam download cache 5. Re-Installed the game I was getting an issue with steam where the webclienthelper.exe kept crashing, and was only fixed when I reinstalled, so had to do it. It might've been the new windows update that happened recently? But that's not really going to help with a fix. Only theorizing cause I was able to play the game around 2-3 weeks ago. Anyone have any more ideas?? Thanks in advance!

  • I am not sure reinstalling Steam actually deletes its download cache, so you may want to try that first. Then, if it doesn't work, try this: in an elevated Command prompt execute netsh winsock reset netsh int ip reset ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew ipconfig /flushdns and then reboot your PC
