...Give PVP to someone else to develop
Ideally...
...separate the game modes into their own games
...link the vaults / can monetize some vault-pass this way
...but each mode (PVE/PVP) can allow any weapon to be gained in their own mode (don't force players to play your way.. its all earnable anywhere)
...that new studio will be dedicated to building the PVP side so they will fight for dedicated servers, anti-cheat, interesting events/modes, balance, ranks/tournaments, stats and ways to progress players, a range/gauntlet.. other things that emphasize PVP skills
...maybe this will allow Destiny 2.5 to be created as fixing the bugs.. getting this space and concise investment for the 2 sides can be marketed.. can even be a reset
...the main draw, why keep this PVP going you might ask, I really do think the movement and gunplay/gunfeel in the game is unmatched... we just need a team enthused about creating weapons, maps, and things for this side of the game and focused on balance...
No one is playing a PVP only Destiny Game. No one is playing a PVE only Destiny Game.

Good feedback, i really like, but i doubt they will do it man.
-
Or you could stop expecting PvP to be something other than what it’s designed to be. A wild concept, I know, that a game mode isn’t tailored just for you x

Infinity ward best choice

Can’t have “balance” with RNG equipment.
-
I think you need to start considering they don’t care for the PvP in destiny 2 anymore. All the money is being dumped into marathon. Sure they’ll make minor adjustments. But you’ll never see them addressing the obvious hacks and trials or comp. I haven’t played PvP in 2 months and don’t plan on going back into it

It’s funny how they think they can create a new PVP game while the one they had has been going from bad to worse throughout the years, Intentionally ignoring feedback until most of the population gave up They’re too arrogant to see that new ES fans won’t be patient with them like Destiny fan did they’ll simply walk away and show zero interest in the game like the numbers currently clearly shows Knowing Bungie and their arrogance they will just double down and refuse to change until SONY dissolves them.. I don’t see any way around it

Who is going to play this new studio for this standalone game that they would have to buy or license the ip from Bungie?
-
100% agree. I defended Bungie 10 years. But it is over. Metas are getting more worse every season. Bungie IS NOT ABLE to solve core problems. Invis+fusions was everytime a problem, they didnt solve it. Now we have a desaster. This is only one example. They cannot bring balance. They change things without seeing what this means for pvp. I cannot defend Bungie anymore. No pvp strike team left.

You can't have the fictional "balance" you claim to want (which is a lie) so long as both modes are inextricably tied together, whether it's a separate studio or not. You'd be better suited to a completely brand new, stand-alone game and it would have to be one without anything that makes Destiny Destiny with the exception of the gunplay. Otherwise, it'd just be the same thing with a different studio's name on the title screen.

Like the idea... It's a shame that they are not giving the love pvp deserves....

So, just a quick thought. All the people whining about Marathon taking Destiny 2 resources (real or not). How are those same people going to take a second game taking more people away from Destiny 2 pve? lmao. Honestly, I hope it happens JUST to see their reaction. I only bring it up because I imagine the venn diagram of people who want pvp in a separate game and people who are mad at marathon for "taking resources" is basically just one circle.

Truly a gold mine of a game if bungie wasn’t totally and unfathomably inept
